Yes. We sell directly to you, whether you’re buying a single loose diamond or planning a piece of jewellery. You don’t need to be a trade buyer.
How much does a 1 ct lab-grown diamond cost?
Our loose 1 ct lab-grown diamonds start from R4,000 excluding VAT and come with IGI certification. Tell David which shape you like. He’ll confirm what’s available, explain the colour and clarity, and give you the full price including VAT. Prices vary with the stone you choose.
How do I get a price for a natural diamond?
WhatsApp David with your budget. If you know the shape or size you’d like, add that too. If you don’t, that’s fine — he’ll help you find suitable options.
How do I get a wholesale diamond quote in South Africa?
Start with your budget and whether you’re interested in natural or lab-grown diamonds. Add any preferences you have, such as shape, size or when you need it. David will take it from there.
Can I enquire about both natural and lab-grown diamonds?
Yes. Diagem works with both. Explore the natural diamond and lab-grown diamond pages, then ask David to compare suitable options.
Can I view diamonds in Johannesburg?
Yes. Diagem holds physical stock that you can view in person by appointment at Knox Safes, 1 River Street, Houghton Estate, Johannesburg. Contact Diagem so David can discuss your requirements before your visit.
Does a wholesale diamond have a fixed price per carat?
No single rate fits every diamond. Shape, weight, cut, colour, clarity, grading and availability affect pricing. Compare the complete stone specifications and request a quote review where helpful.
What should I check on a diamond certificate?
Check the issuing laboratory, report number, carat weight, colour, clarity and relevant cut details. Ask David to explain the report alongside the actual stone. Read the diamond education guide for a starting point.
Which diamond shapes can I request?
You can request any shape. Explore our diamond shapes guide, then ask David about current stock and pricing for your preferred shape and specifications.
How do I book an in-person viewing?
Just WhatsApp David to arrange a time. Let him know your budget and anything you have in mind so he can discuss suitable diamonds with you.

Yes, we offer insured delivery nationwide within two business days. Check dispatch timing and any delivery charge with David. If we’re making jewellery for you, we’ll also confirm the time needed to make it before it can be sent.

Are the diamonds certified?
Yes. Our lab-grown diamonds come with IGI certificates, and our natural diamonds come with GIA certificates. David can show you the report and explain what it tells you about your diamond.
